FORAGE SEED PRODUCTION

Located near Carrot River, we are well situated and close to generations of experienced forage seed growers who multiply a diversity of crop kinds.  This fertile area has a long history of high quality forage seed production. Our production of legumes and grasses are grown to satisfy domestic, continental and offshore markets.  Contracts are available on most crop kinds and varieties.

SEED CONDITIONING AND PROCESSING

In early August we will start to take delivery of the new crop.  The fescues, perennial ryegrass and Russian wildrye are some of the earliest to be harvested.  The cleaning plant will then start to operate around the clock.  With over 275,000 bushels of rough seed storage and 105,000 square feet of warehouse floor space, three blenders and two packaging lines, we have some built in flexibility in our shipping and packaging schedule.  The bin yard is serviced with an all electric transfer system.
